Demonstrated capability to multi-task; support of multiple program and organization initiatives in parallel
Blackbelt certification, or the ability to obtain certification through appropriate in-house training
Must have PowerPoint and Excel skills consistent with presenting information, status, and planning to management; refined group communication skills
Desired skills Lean/Six Sigma blackbelt or equivalent
Solder certified to IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or equivalent
Solid modeling (ProE or SolidWorks), ProProcess, and/or AutoCad competency
Experience with developing program and project proposals
Previous CAM experience, or support of CAM inputs
Desire to help guide and mentor others Specific Job Description Provides Manufacturing Engineering support for MEADS radar program
Supports IPT for Manufacturing issues and opportunities
Supports represented workforce for assembly/inspection sequences
Creates assembly planning based on drawings and solid models, participates in engineering technical reviews, identifies opportunities for process improvement, interacts with Tech Ops organization to lead and implement DFA/DFM concepts
Identifies, manages, and implements capital projects in support of assigned programs
Provide troubleshooting and process help to represented workforce in both proactive and reactive situations
Helps drive Quality improvement and determines root cause/corrective actions
Actively participates in initiatives to improve IME rate
Supports product sell-off, including interfacing with DCMA as appropriate
Leads teams, as appropriate, in the execution of program and organizational tasks
Standard Job Description Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling
Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout
Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance
Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions
May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan
Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality
Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques
Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques
Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations
Security Clearance Secret Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
