  • Job Description Seeking a Nuclear Field Engineering Manager to provide nuclear power field outage project management expertise to a regional utility company
  • Will be responsible for the management of a $25M + customer account. The successful candidates responsibilities will include but not limited too: will work across internal organizations such as, field sales, marketing, engineering, and repair facilities to meet customer requirements. Will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, providing updates, reports and managing the expectation of the customer in a fast paced environment Must have knowledge of steam turbines and generators
  • Experience with nuclear steam turbine generators is highly desirable
  • Candidate must have a strong commitment to personnel and industrial safety excellence
  • Must have a passion for service and continuous performance improvement
  • Candidates that have prior working experience with Florida Power and Light Nuclear are desirable
  • Candidate must be able to lead a team of strong-willed individuals and take strong positions both internally and externally
  • Must have successful record managing /executing complex projects over $5M in terms of safety, quality and schedule in an intense environment
  • Candidate must be comfortable communicating/interfacing within multiple levels of Siemens and FPL Nuclear
  • Education: BS Degree Project Management Certification, Green Belt/Black Belt Certification, LEAN experience, Human Performance/Cockpit Resource Management experience, Advanced Degree(s), 15 years military experience specific to navy nuclear propulsion could be substituted as equivalent experience in some cases

  • : Drive Technologies- consolidates the activities of Above NEMA Motors and NEMA motors, as well as Medium and Low Voltage Drives addressing the customer’s need for horsepower, speed, torque control and intelligence
  • Low Voltage Distribution - has technologies ranging from circuit protection and energy management systems to controls, industrial software and totally integrated power solutions
  • This extensive two-year rotational program consists of 4 six-month rotations throughout key areas of Engineering
  • ELDP is intended for graduates seeking opportunities to work on product design, engineering, and quality testing for the construction market
  • Program Description: * Product Design and Development - develop concepts and designs for new products and design-to-cost for existing products
  • * Engineering Testing - gain valuable experience with a wide variety of Siemens products, testing methods, and exposure to regulatory and agency standards
  • * Product/Quality Engineering - develop engineering skills through maintenance of existing products, agency certification testing, design implementation, and product yield improvement
  • * Product Management - gain detailed knowledge of products in the Siemens Industry portfolio
  • Possible projects include Product Roadmap Development, Voice of the Customer, New Product Introduction, Customer Support, and Competitive Analysis
