General Description: Support the development of the Energy Service capability for the new business of Fuel Gasification (ENERGY FG)
Support the market and product development needs of ENERGY Services in close cooperation with ENERGY FG and ENERGY S groups
This business is centered on two new markets: Gasification of fuel for the production of various chemicals and liquids (CTL, CTG and CTF) and the gasification of fuel in combination with electric power production (IGCC)
The job responsibility will include the analysis and development of O&M Processes, performance and costs for synthesis gas (Syngas) production and clean-up
Also the development of routine and scheduled maintenance programs for the total plant and the development of the required supply chain, O&M costing and risk mitigation tools and methodology in close cooperation with the O&M implementation group
Responsibilities: - Support the implementation of FEED Studies, Engineering Studies, RAM Studies, O&M Contracts and Bids with experience and know-how in Chemical Processes such as Cryogenic Air Separation, Coal Gasification, Water-Shift reaction, Acid Gas Treatment, Pressure Swing Absorption, Methanization technology and other synthesis processes
- Development of service cost estimating tools and resources for the total Gasification or IGCC plant
- Development of Operation and Maintenance Programs and Proprietary parts and service costs, materials and performance for Siemens FG technology - Understand chemical applications and processes in order to develop Siemens O&M competencies - Interface with Siemens ENERGY Fuel Gasification (FG) engineering and management team in Freiberg, Germany to create the Gasification Process Service and Operations Competence for Fuel Gasification in Orlando - Support the development of proprietary Service/Parts Strategy for FG process
- Development of lifecycle optimization strategy for Catalyst replacement, Gasifier life extension and modernization of Gasification processes
- Creation of training and safety procedures and process requirements for the service and O&M implementation teams
- Support negotiation and closing of Energy Service and O&M contracts for FG/IGCC Plants
Experience Requirements: Bachelor degree Chemical Engineering 8-10 years experience Develop and troubleshoot CO shift, Acid gas removal and Sulfur recovery systems, HAZOP studies, O&M impacts
Broad knowledge of chemical processes and catalytic reactions, working with customers, Analyzing P&ID, drawings, layouts for O&M impacts on cost & performance
Experience operating and maintaining production equipment with financial reporting
