• Your background may include both QA and development roles and you understand that building and maintaining large test frameworks is a complex and challenging task
• You will bring your vision of test automation to help the team build and maintain the most effective build/test and release infrastructure in the industry while maintaining high quality
• You will evangelize and consult on creating effective tests - using your experience, toolset of techniques and metrics to increase test and code coverage, test quality, test pass rates and test throughput: the basis of test effectiveness
• Responsibilities:
• Work directly creating, enhancing and maintaining these frameworks such as JUnit/Selenium Test/Selenium Grid etc
• Create tools and processes to measure automation progress for the organization as a whole, as well as individual teams and individual developers
• Identify and create new tools (outside of testing tools) to improve efficiency of automation team and other teams
• Work with scrum teams to identify testing goals and help them reach those goals through collaborative test creation, documentation and training
• Work with members of scrum teams to help them solve test failures or performance issues as well as provide feedback on test or test utility designs
• 3+ years of software development experience or equivalent experience in a QA automation organization
• Strong knowledge and experience in object oriented design (especially with Java), database, and web programming
