• A position exists for a Software Engineer to join our team based in West Wareham, Massachusetts. Software Engineer with a BS in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering to help develop leading edge acoustic positioning and underwater communications products. The successful candidate will have 4-7 years experience in the development of real-time, multi-threaded applications for Windows or digital signal processors (DSP) running a real time OS (RTOS) The position involves development of software in a multidisciplinary environment, to support the data acquisition and signal processing components, and handle inter-system communication tasks
• This Software Engineering position requires software design and writing experience in some or all of the following areas:
• " User interfaces " Embedded systems software " DSP and coding for DSP " Multithreaded applications " High level and detailed software design " Code documentation " Hardware and software systems integration For this Software Engineer position, a key requirement is experience, and a demonstrated ability to read, write and debug code written in C /C++
• A background in scientific programming and acoustics is desirable
