  • This position is located in Bellevue, WA and reports directly to the Senior Director of National Infrastructure Services and Regional Network Engineering Services
  • The Director of Infrastructure Services Engineering will manage four direct reports at Senior Manager and Manager level
  • Infrastructure Services Engineering Team is responsible for implementation of all National ATM, TDM and IP backbone for all of T-Mobile applications
  • This transport organization also serves as the single point of contact for all intake, analysis and delivery for transport and infrastructure services
  • This team serves both Customer serving applications, such as Voice, Data and Messaging services and Internal applications such as Customer Care, Retail Stores etc
  • Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Manage a large team to meet T-Mobile goals and initiatives and effectively communicate goals and objectives to the team
  • Establish current and long-range objectives, plans and policies
  • Developing strategies and plans to reduce operating cost, improve capital efficiency, and drive network quality
  • Evaluate the technical and financial viability of all new and ongoing development projects, assess risks and ensure adequate risk and provide feedback to executive leadership as needed
  • Lead the Infrastructure Services Engineering team to provide IP, ATM, Optical, security services across the enterprise
  • Support national initiatives through the implementation of new technologies, services and expansion of the GSM/UMTS/UMA Wireless Network
  • Oversee the security framework and act as liaison for Enterprise Security Council to manage any security issues that may arise
