  • Lead the efforts in the utilization of the DCS control system
  • Develop and drive the implementation of a forward plan for thorough strategic automation to improve the overall safety, system environmental performance and the system reliability

  • Supervise and manage the installation of electronic microprocessor-based instrument control systems including but not limited to the long-term historians and the DCS control system
  • 7
  • Recommend, maintain, and engineer modifications to system hardware and software
  • Responsibility for system selection and management

  • Responsible for directing troubleshooting efforts of the DCS system and managing all program modifications
  • 9
  • Responsible for training of affected personnel for utilization of software tools with relation to the DCS system
  • 10
  • Define spare parts and preventative maintenance requirements for DCS and related components
  • 11
  • Communicate and maintain proper documentation relating to the DCS system status, changes, and coordinate/conduct personnel training for such related items as necessary
  • 12
  • Keep current on all equipment modifications, software revisions, and the future direction of the process control industry
  • 13
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations and operating permits
